Christopher Platt
called me a loser and a poof
and tried to punch me in the face
on the school playground.
Years later, he didn't remember me
when he turned up
behind the cricket pavilion
when the summers were as long as the grass
and the beer was stolen from my dad;s pantry
and every BJ
was a tenner in my pocket
