What are you carrying?
a white bundle as big as your head
is it a late-season baby?
Perhaps the prophesy of a second coming
was for the God of squirrely wonder
to eradicate all the predators.
Aye, my fluffy friend, the world is yours
I know you'll do a better job than us.
