...Forty Days and Nights...

A manhole cover in the field.

No, this isn't the wetland field, just the normal pre-cemetery field.
Can you tell we've had some rain?

This little chap knows about rain

Bedraggled dandelion
needs a towel or two
and perhaps a cocoa.

X marks the spot?
Is this laburnum tree due for the chop
or does it mark a dryad's grave?

Wet cemetery road
The bench is left to the rain
as the puddles grow.

I take it it's raining? Like non-stop raining?

Today as I looked at the pictures of the graveyard - I wondered if those residents were use to you walking through and taking pictures and the dogs enjoying themselves. What do you think?

They probably are, but I never let the dogs run free in the cemetery. It's a respect frame of mind.

I'm with you there. Can you imagine having a dog squat over you? Even if there is wood and earth between you and 'it' - it's still offensive! Ick!

You have a very kind soul Rachel.

I could imagine myself walking down that road.

Someday, I hope. *big big smile*

Hugs, lovies, and stuffs for you all. *HG*

God bless and take care. :).

I think many of us will walk down a cemetery road, Olga, we just won't notice!
