I get all dreamy looking at hinges and latches and stuff. I think - oh! I could put this here on the fence gate...or over here on this door.Ironmongers. What a wonderful word.(doesn't even make me swear)
There are so few of the original Ironmongers about now.
Brilliant shops, Rach. There are some here, I'm sure. I love hooks. rows of them, brass, plastic, red ones, faces.....
I'm sure Ireland has a few traditional shops left, Gina :)
Indeed, these days it's all big DIY chains. A very interesting display that was.
