Sunny Walking

Jack and Trickster
enjoy morning sun...
both stick out their tongues
for the camera.

Old pipe
leading to nowhere
still looks important.

Abandoned factory
No walking allowed
Grants given for non-use.

Clematis flower
in an old hedge.
Was this once a garden?

What do you mean grants given for non-use?

The dogs look funny with their tongues stuck out. And that huge pipe - why don't they take it down and recycle the material in it?

Sometimes I just weep at the ways of the world.

Yhe local council often award grants to keep a property from being developed. Particularly with fields, grants are often given to keep land as arable or pasture.
