Wetland Wonders

Seed heads
still hopeful
under thunderous skies

Burdock spikes
still proud, stand tall
in wetland grass.

Haw berries
bright as blood
with water droplets.

Clover struggles to seed -
last chance of flowering
before winter.

White moth
finds a refuge
on tiny Ragwort suns

Wow - that last picture is stunning! The brightness of the yellow against the green and then the little bit of white...whew!

What are haw berries?

And I take it it's still raining there.
