More Eww

I went into the kitchen this morning and saw the washing machine had finished. I opened it and flooded the kitchen. It hadn't finished - the electricity was off. Oh dear. (Fortunately, Rowan wired the study on a seperate circuit, so the kitchen blowing up no longer switches off the PCs. Rowan is made of win.)

What had happened was that the mains ignition switch on the gas hob had got wet and shorted out the ring circuit. This happens when a pan boils over, when Aimee spills a drink or when, like today, the cat has projectile vomited over it.

May I say 'Ewww?'

Despite the rain, the streets had that hushed, misty look.

This is why my feet are soaked through
as soon as I step on the field

Long. Wet. Grass.

The 'usual' poplars, taken from side on.
See? There are two of them.

Three dogs. One lead.

Someone graffitied this tree!
Why?

Nute eats too fast - we generally give her 1/3 of a pouch at a time for this reason.

Oh how disgusting!! Lovely photos though, except that one! You could get an arts council grant for that piece of 'yuk'!

Alas, the liberal arts councils died long ago. Now you have to pay them on a profit share basis.
