Since I wanted to go to the shop afterwards, I went the opposite way: down Central Avenue and through the wood. Since i saw no other dogs, I let them free all through the wood, over the path and into the field. happy dogs.
Shop window advertisements.
My mother always used to underline things she was selling, too.
Patient dogs.

What might a "roof crawler" be? A burglaring device?
I've no idea - some sort of ladder?
Looking at those window ads reminded me of grade school. That sticky stuff they used instead of scotch tape. Memory lane.
Shame that the dogs can't run free on each walk. I'd be happy to if I didn't have a leash holding me back from exploring.
It's a ladder you use to crawl on a roof! It has a piece at the top that hooks over the apex of the roof.
Not many shops take those ads anymore. I used to love reading them.
Our large(ish) garden and feed store still has those sorts of signs. I find them delightful to read.
Patient dogs indeed! (But I kept being dyslexic in my typing and couldn't get away from "gods".)
Aims: They do get an off-the-lead section on every walk.
Gina: The always seem a bit redundant now - like e-bay without the bargains
Steph - Ha! I often do the same mistype :)
