Coventry - Cathedral

Squirrels in the park -
on the steps of a war memorial
open-air cathedral.

An impressive facade. The squirrels look very cheeky, I must say.

Oh, how beautiful. I'm at a loss for words.

Thank you both.

The squirrels were very tame. You can see people photographing them.

Is it just me? I can't see a squirrel anywhere - where are they?

That cathedral. Was it built as an open-air cathedral? Or has time made it into one?

The squirrils are in the green bit -- you can't see them from here.

The cathedral was bombed in 1940 and has stood as a war memorial ever since. The new cathedral is behind it.

Shown carfully from the side that doesn't include the university's less pleasant looks.
