Willow Tree

That path looks intriguing. Is that a bridge by the willow? I wonder where it leads...

It was a bridge and led to a fabulous, but boarded-up building.

The bridge leads over the river to the building that once was the library, then part of the local college. It's a beautiful building, and a shame that it's not in use any more. Did you see the 'art' work hanging from the tree across the river - it looks like a bell, or a bell-shaped flower?

Thanks Lola. We wondered what the building was and wanted to live there!

We did see the sculpture. We thought it a beech nut. DK took a great shot of it but didn't post it on his blog.
