brings back memories of me coming home to yogurt pots placed over spiders by my flat mate and me kicking them over by accident after too many lagers. Love the picture and words.
Reminds me of the story my brother told me of being in Guatemala and a spider making attacking moves at him. He placed a glass over it and slid it out the door of his room. In the morning the spider was gone but the glass remained.
Oh I love this Rachel. The painting is glorious! Poor Amy. I am better at withstanding them now. Ours have very long legs but tiny bodies, so are not as scary as the fat, garden spiders in the UK.

Thanks Sonia. So many people are frightened of them.
A scared spider? The concept works for me!
Thanks Deej :)

aims - fab story!
We're nearly overrun right now (with spiders). We'd run out of glasses quickly!
Wonderful poem and painting. The colours are so vibrant!
Aimee soft is terrifiesd of them, alas!
But the spiders knit miniature laces which they had tied to the doors of the house and so, little bu little, they all came back...
*chuckles*
Don't tell Amy that!
