I have a dichotomy
of wanting to be free of possessions
and yet desirous
to keep everything.
If I could replace my books
with digital copies
I would be content
but what of art?
My paintings are part of me
my life of wonder
my struggle for peace
and acceptance of myself
the fear beyond acceptance.
