why are they pronounced
'ave-a-car-doe'
and not 'ave-oh-ka-do'?
It seems odd to me
but similar observations
lead people to avoid me.
Enquiring minds
can lead to isolation
especially in my youth
when I kept a decomposing sheep
in the communal bathtub.
