so much for August
empry bird feeders

new Receptionist
at the doctor's surgery
as I request medication for Lu.
he barely looks up,
calls me 'sir'
and 'this gentleman'
despite my sports top
and fairly obvious tits.
It doesn't matter.
I'm used to it.
The general disregard for transfolk
ie endemic to our culture.
I can still grow a beard if I need to.
Perhaps I should.
I could 'match expectations'
while denying my Self.
