tiny blocks of wood
hand-cut into odd shapes
and painted
not all jigsaws interlock
and some I labour over
just to check completeness.
At least I have the edges done
though many seemingly sraight pieces
are left over,
connections to the piece shaped like a scimitar
or the smooth line of a racecar.
I don't even have a picture to work from
just a plain cardboard box.
