I broke your mug
deliberately.
I could've thrown it away;
given it to the charity shop;
left it on the bus
for some other soul to find,
but instead
I threw it at the wall.
It made me feel better
about your infidelity;
your lies;
the STD you gave me
when I'd been faithful for years.
I thought about Kintsukuroi
but you're not worth it
so I buried the pieces
with the dog turds.
