allow the heat of summer
with autumnal winds

fifty six years old
and babysitting the grandchild
for a couple of hours.
I have to google 'how to make pancakes'
I don't cook what I don't eat
and am told 'with chocolate spread,"
and when the first is ready and on a plate
'and marshmallows.'
I add marshmallows.
'and rolled up and cut into bites.'
Bloody hell, daughter,
what have you created?
