casting long shadows
reluctant schoolchildren

Walking among the maskless
an afternoon in Matlock Bath
where the dog can enjoy the river
and she can enjoy the motorbikes
roaring up and down the prom.
Ice-cream eaters mingle with those
taking fish and chips or beer
where the pinched faces of pillion girls
almost seem to smile.
