obscured by clouds
howling dog

music party at the community centre
and kids going door-to-door
dressed in their new costumes
from B&M and the pound shop.
No decorations here,
so I'm mostly left alone
but a few brave the barking dog.
A tub of sweets
won by the offspring
but the real terror
is the bedroom dogfight
and the howling from the dog crate.
