tell someone they’re stupid to their face
and expect to get a punch in the nose.
I step back sharpish.
It hurts like Hell
but Hell is just just hyperbole.
Two Jehova's Witnesses
standing in the cold outside the park
one with a fresh haircut
the other with earrings.
They edit the Bible according to a whim;
ignore the verses about not eating shrimp
or that lovely pork roast
and focus instead on the one line against being gay
and gloss over the fact
it originally decreed that 'man
shall not lie with child'
because little girls are usually virgins.
