is honesty variable?
or does it depend on circumstances
If I say I'm always honest am I lying?
Saying 'mostly honest'
suggest I partake in the odd burglary
when really I mean
I said 'no' when asked if I had a wallet
by that youth with a knife the night before last,
or saying "he's beautiful,"
when her newborn looks like a potato
from the very back of the cupboard.
But when I say "I love you" I mean it.
Honestly.
