fear not the devil for compassion
drives his ev'ry act, and for a smallish fee
providing service, that for a fashion
will forever sway devout and bended knee
for who can judge the frailty of God
but one for whom His love has been withdrawn
and cast from Heaven by flaming whip and rod
to fall from Grace to dwell with mortals born.
And who declared that Sin might be the fate
of mortals born before they take a breath
but God, whose representatives of late
embrace their palaces of gold in death.
A signature in blood is recognised
as mark of free will for those so despised.
