IX.VII
So in her old Head Teacher's ideal Heaven
God would lead a capitalist idyll
where wealth would shift to the power of seven
and mortal suffering paid the final bill.
Quite how he came to this concept of Grace
showed he had not thought through the logic of his tale
for with lovely house and fancy car he'd face
the consequence of metaphor and fail.
For his idea of translated just for him
(and oh! How she would love to meet him once again!)
would mean that though his lived avoiding sin
he'd find himself a resident of Pandemonium.
