On the Confession of a Priest
Why when thou promotes an aging priest
to Bishop of the Church of Wales dost thou
keep secreted his paedophilic past
until eleven years have passed; and how
many more amongst thy cleric ranks
hold dirty secrets from the hands of law
the salting of donated gifts in banks
and perversions of thy Holy Writ before.
Thou claims that Tony Pierce an isolated case
forgiven by the Lord Above because
thy victim, at fifteen, had such a face
to melt an old man's heart and milk his juzz.
And though the victim's mum had lodged complaints
there was no chance the church would risk those taints.
