below a stunning, clear sky

Sunday morning
is a cup of tea in a sunny bedroom
listening to the peal of church bells
with no intention of going to pray.
Warm toast
and the rich tones of a radio four announcer;
the promise of a long walk later
and the adoration of a dog.
