running through the town
in a goat-hide thong
breasts slapping against winter-pale skin
bare feet meeting all the grit
and litter of modern life.
Ragged strips of bloody goatskin
fresh-harvested from the field
next to the Big Asda.
The police are not amused
by a declaration of religious freedom
and insist instead
on a Breach of the Peace.
