behind that blanket of cloud
last night's starry sky

storm Eunice
rips the panels off the O2 arena;
and the spire of St Thomas' in Wells.
One can't help thinking
if their God was displeased
at the hatred of Christians,
but if They exist,
they didn't like our portico, either.
