a dog shitting
and it's owner looks away
pretending not to notice.
I wonder what her house is like.
Does she pretend there, as well?
leaving the floors knee deep
as a Tanner's storeroom?
I suspect not, and my daydream
of finding where she lives and advertising the address
so all the other owners who take her blame
can deposit their bagged up shit at her house
is just wishful thinking.
