Holland streets
where the cyclists have right of way
and walkers best beware
"Move to the front of the tram,"
shouts the conductor,
"or we'll all be in for a long delay."
The threat is taken seriously
on the overcrowded vehicle
and we get off a stop early
panting from the heat.
We can't go all the way, anyway;
the roads are being cobbled.
