overcast again
at least we're not on fire

dreaming
of the job that broke me
and the co-workers
who despised everything about me
except now I've added in dementia
and forgetting where the building was
and the endless pranks of supervisors
who his all of my paperwork
and gave me the hardest cases to oversee.
Little wonder
I had a breakdown twenty years ago
and have never recovered.
