fades into sunshine

Maui fires forgotten
and a hurricane sweeps california;
causes flooding
Oh no! They lost a bridge
and had to close a highway!
Meanwhile the lists of Hawaiian dead
are updated every hour
but sure, white folks inconvenienced
is more newsworthy.
