White collar crime
is the American Way
whan campaign funds become available
for personal use and taxes are withheld.
Trump, DeSantis, Santos
and now Lauren Bobert spends donations
buying drinks at a drag bar.
I was on a carnival float, once,
dressed as an old man for some cause or other,
holding out an old boot
for pennies and sixpences
and stole from the collections
enough to buy a packet of stamps
from the philately shop.
I should have been a politician;
and made crime my whole career.
