Chris' dad
mansplained a camera to me
the day my dad bought me the the best he could afford;
a second-hand zenimax SLR.
I probably knew more about optics
than the old chap ever did
but I knew enough to feign awe
and thank him for his knowledge.
Besides, he had the most obnoxious parrot
I had ever heard in my life
bit swore he'd never taught the bird
all those rudw words.
