Letter to my Sister
Thank you for your festive card. it found us
if not so well, then at least alive
for DK deals with too much work and just
commitments he cannot avoid and thrive.
I have myself been injured recently
with twice-fractured elbow on my right
sustained while training at the gym but see
how quickly it is healing although the pain doth bite
(the osteoporosis crumbling my bones
means it's not the last of broken limbs
that shall befall me, though the doc condones
the exercise from Dojo and the gyms.
But all this pales inside the world abuse
where swastikas and rebel flags once more have legal use.
