On Texts Between Good Mates
Hey! Thou who woulds't be brother to this I
I have some news for thee to thy demerit
not one but two things bring much sorrow to thee
and if thou art now seated, I will share it.
"Forsooth, dear friend, for many years my Bro,"
came the reply, "An horrid day this be
for my chariot is broked down and so
I beg of thee, combine both things for me."
As thou wish, so shall it be. A message threw
that breaketh both our hearts as if t'were one
that friendship strained of late be forged anew
and there be no dissent when all is done.
My brother have I learned just now to see
Thy girlfriend cheats upon both thee and me.
