Threescore Years and Ten
I wrote a short piece
the ended with my mother stating
she didn't know why God made men,
and I was corrected by a lady
who told me quite sternly
that God made man in His own image
and that everything in the Bible
was the Word of God.
I smiled politely at the this eighty-year old
and wondered aloud
about Psalm Ninety:Ten
and asked if she'd agree to euthanasia
on her next birthday.
She declined.
But if In the Beginning was the Word
and the Word was God
and God created Adam in His own image,
Was God an Incel
sitting in the Basement of the Void
Pining for something to stick his dick inside?
