01 Hook
There’s a hook in the basement,
dulled by disuse
but bright with expectation
and the promise of
something sweet.
Is that a spot of rust
upon the cool surface
or something more sinister?
Like the missing Aunty Jane
or my Teddy
with the ripped arm?

Sinister, definitely sinister.
Oh my!
Your talent amazes me Rachel. Your dedication to your talent amazes me even more!
It's a poem a day prompt :)
Am I mad?
Thank you both!
Oh, lovely. A poem a day = madness? My dear, you write three a day already. What's one more?
We'll see if i can keep it up :)
That's some committment, Rach. Good discipline though. I felt poetic on the way to Gort this morning in the mist, but failed to get part 2 good start lines!
That's a shame, Gina. With your classical knowledge you'd be a fab poet.
