Covid-19 fears
escalate too rapidly
the panic buying of pasta,
rice and medication
overtaking the ability to restock.
Let us paint the houses
with viridian crosses
for the sick
and the over-seventies
but keep the churches open
for God to protect his flock
or condemn them all.
