a Gurkha soldier
fights off forty armed robbers
to prevent a girl he didn't know
from being raped on a train.
he kills three, injures eight,
gets his wounds treated.
The girl's parents offer a cash reward
but he refuses it.
"Fighting the enemy in battle
is my duty as a soldier;
taking on the thugs on the train
is my duty as a human being."
