"fireworks extravaganza"
the flyer promises
and honestly, aren't we past this?
Throwing money at the sky
in an effort to please the gods
of Tory inflation.
Butter's gone up a whole pound
and I can barely afford the groceries
but sure, let's pretend our problems
don't exist for one night
and give all the animals PTSD.
