Not long ago
you could go to the doctors
and just take a ticket
waiting to be seen when your number came up.
I booked an appointment
(I had to go in person, mind,
because they won't answer the phone)
for two weeks away.
A defunded NHS
means longer wait times
and more deaths of the elderly
an unconscious bias by the government
to slip in euthanasia
and save the pension fund.
