pigeons calling from the shade
overheated dogs

we talk about films;
netflix series'; comic adaptations.
He's still got the youth,
the energy, the delight in life
but he's ageing fast.
Life is not kind to a young man
with mental health problems
but he makes me smile, still,
and precious few do that.
