becomes common parlance.
"Gays" turns into "Hats"
and now, I am the Home Hat
trying to deal with adult life
when I still don't feel like an adult.
Almost sixty and still a teenager
though my body begs to differ.
Remember the years of full time work
on only an hour or so of sleep?
If I don't get my full eight hours now
I'm useless for the day.
