pub closures double
over last year's figures
and why are people surprised?
Pub culture is a relic of the past
and the glorification of alcohol
is the refuge of the small minded.
No-one goes to the pub to drink responsibly
and the drop in pub numbers
reflect a drop in drunk drivers
and the pub crawls of our mis-spent youth
were always regretted afterwards.
