I haven't seen white dog poo in years.
Possibly because I'm vegetarian
but more probably because supermarkets
have replaced the local butcher
and instead of bones being given to dog owners,
they're now crushed, minced and sold
as cheap sausages and burger meat
or fed to dogs as treat bars and cheap brands.
No more calcified poo
to guide you in the winter dark.
