neighbour's children
screaming in the early evening
for no other reason than they can.
If only they knew these screams
have the effect of crying 'wolf'
and if they were in mortal danger
I would assume they were playing.
Self defence class:
when you can't run away
shout 'Fire'
because people are curious;
they will always come to see
something spectacular burn.
