She was a ten year old
just yesterday

"Wiser than your years," the figure opens cloak
to show emaciated flesh within
and release the attar of a tomb with seal broke
and flashed a knowing smile with a skeletonal grin.
"With your consent, a gift I bring to you
with which you can now elevate your art
but be though warned: to build the world anew
requires a sacrifice upon your part.
For ten long years you'll find prosperity and fame
and be lauded well for every painting made
but everywhere you go will bring decay
as foundations of the world above are laid.
